Hammerspace recently announced Rp 1.67 triliun ($100 m) illion in funding to expand its business, valuing the company at over Rp 8.35 triliun ($500 m) illion. The funding round, described as a 'strategic venture round,' includes backers like Altimeter Capital and ARK Invest. The company plans to use a portion of this funding to enhance its sales and marketing efforts. Hammerspace's technology is built on Linux and leverages the Linux kernel NFS client to create a unique file system for managing, moving, and orchestrating data. This innovation addresses the challenge of fragmented and unstructured data stored across multiple environments, making it accessible and available when needed. The company aims to go public in approximately two years, depending on market conditions.
